The textile industry use a technique called direct to film (DTF) printing to imprint graphics on materials. It serves as an alternative to established techniques like screen printing or vinyl heat transfers. DTF printers are specialised printers that produce high-quality prints on transfer films that are subsequently adhered to the fabric using a combination of inkjet technology and heat transfer.
